Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

A Cut Above Uniforms values its customers and respects their privacy. This policy describes the personal information we collect about you, why we collect it, and how we use it. Our policy also describes the choices you can make about how we collect and use your information.

Security

When you enter a payment method during checkout, critical information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We maintain no records of credit card numbers and security codes. Credit card transactions placed on our site occur on a secure gateway. A Cut Above Uniforms has no access to your card information during or after a transaction occurs. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.

Surveys or Contests

Occasionally, we may provide you with an opportunity to participate in contests or surveys (or both) on our site. If you participate, we will request certain personally identifiable information from you. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact and demographic information. We may use a third party service provider to conduct these surveys or contests. Any 3rd party administering these programs is required to adhere to all policies outlined in our Privacy Policy. We will not share the personally identifiable information you provide through a contest or survey with other third parties.

Marketing Communications

We will send you information on products, special deals, and promotions using the email address you provide at registration or checkout. On all such communication, we will include an option not to receive these types of communications. Please see “Choice and Opt-out”.

Profile

We store information that we collect through cookies and log files to create a “profile” of your preferences. We do not sell your profile with any organization in the aggregate form nor with your personally identifiable information.

Agents

We use an outside shipping company to fulfill orders, and a credit card processing company to bill you for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any other purposes.

Choice/Opt-out

All SMS and email messaging from our company will include an option to opt out of future communications other than order status or order rectification communication.

If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter and/or promotional communications, you may ‘opt-out’ of receiving them by following the instructions included in each newsletter or communication or by emailing us at cs@acutaboveuniforms.com.
